About the MS Awareness Run

We're excited to announce that we're doing it again this year! Join us for the Brussels Airport Marathon on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025. Whether you're up for 7 km, 21 km, or 42 km, there's a challenge for everyone!

This event is all about raising awareness for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and showing the power of the European MS Movement. Join us as we spread the word and make a difference.

Together, we can make a difference! Let's keep the positive vibes going and show our support for those living with MS.

Here's why you should join us:

  • Raise your voice for the MS community: Spread MS awareness far and widewe're not just talking to Brussels – we're talking to communities everywhere. Get ready to inspire and empower!
  • Raise Funds for a Worthy cause: It’s time to show your fundraising skills! Launch your own campaign with a minimum goal of €100. Every Euro will go towards supporting the activities dedicated to empowering the MS communities led by EMSP.
  • Connect with Cool Peers: Say hello to and meet fellow young MS advocates from across Europe. Trust us, you’re gonna make some awesome new friends!
  • Have a Blast: Whether you're pounding the pavement, wheeling your way or taking a leisurely stroll, it's all about celebrating inclusivity, challenging yourself, and having a ton of fun along the way.
  • Young People's Network (YPN): We encourage young people with MS to take part in this run, a powerful step toward self-empowerment, connection, and visibility. Run with the support of the MS community behind every step.

About EMSP and the Young People's Network

The European Multiple Sclerosis Platform (EMSP) is a non-profit umbrella organization representing national MS societies from across Europe.

The Young People’s Network (YPN) is an initiative within EMSP that brings together young individuals living with MS. It provides a safe, empowering space where young people can connect, share experiences, raise awareness, and advocate for their rights. The network also works to influence policy and promote youth involvement in the MS movement across Europe.

Run Today for a Healthier Tomorrow!

Initiatives like the MS Awareness Run are important because they encourage young people with MS to keep moving, challenge their limits, and connect with others who understand their journey. No matter your starting point, every step taken brings you closer to a stronger, healthier future.

The key is to find an activity that suits your needs, goals and comfort level.

7 KM - Start Strong: Ideal for newcomers or anyone seeking a fun yet satisfying challenge. Take your first steps towards making a difference!

21 KM - Push Your Limits: This half-marathon is for those looking to test their endurance while running for a good cause.

42 KM – Go the Distance: The ultimate challenge for experienced runners who are ready to conquer the half marathon

Your MS doesn’t define you, stay active, and together we’ll raise awareness for MS.
