Stop Neurological Diseases

Standing with those living with Multiple Sclerosis

I’ve been running and supporting EMSP because I believe no one should face Multiple Sclerosis alone. Across Europe, too many people still struggle with access to treatment, support, and the understanding they deserve.

The European Multiple Sclerosis Platform connects national MS societies, brings patient voices to decision-makers, and drives projects that improve daily life and future prospects for people with MS.

Every donation is a step forward — towards better care, stronger rights, and the hope of a future without MS. Together, we can make a difference.

Doing My Homework: Why I’m Running and Why It Matters

When I advise organisations or individuals on how to raise funds, I always come back to one essential point:
people need to know what they are giving for and why.

A donation is not just an act of generosity; it’s a connection — between a cause, a story, and the person who decides to make a difference.

And yet, as the French proverb says, « ce sont les cordonniers les plus mal chaussés » — it’s the shoemakers who have the worst shoes.
I realised recently that I hadn’t followed my own advice.

So here I am, doing my homework.

I’m running to raise awareness and funds for the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform (EMSP). This organisation works tirelessly to support people already living with neurological conditions, ensuring they receive care, dignity, and inclusion.

But this isn’t only about today’s patients.
Neurological diseases — including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, and others — are on the rise.
In our generation, more and more people will be affected. The help we bring now will reduce the suffering, the isolation, and the healthcare burden of tomorrow.

Supporting EMSP means supporting research, advocacy, and concrete initiatives that make life better — not just for those already facing the challenge, but for the next generation who might.

If you’ve ever thought about giving, now is the time.
Your donation, large or small, is not only a gesture — it’s an investment in a future where care, understanding, and innovation meet human compassion.

Thank you for following my journey, for encouraging me to keep running, and for believing that together, we can make a difference.
